Work room by room
Check kitchen surfaces, appliance exteriors, bathrooms, floors, reachable trim, closets, and empty living spaces. Remove personal items and trash before the cleaning appointment unless another arrangement has been discussed.
Decide on interior add-ons
Inside ovens, refrigerators, cabinets, and interior windows often require extra time. Ask for these tasks when you call rather than waiting until the appointment.
Leave time for a walkthrough
Review the lease or property instructions yourself. Cleaning services cannot determine whether a landlord will return a deposit, so use your own agreement as the final checklist.
